The Justin Gold Property, Yukon Territory
 

Aben Resources has a 100% interest in its flagship 18,314 acre Justin Gold Project. The property is located in the southeast Yukon on the Tintina Gold Belt. It is approximately 35 kilometres southeast of the Cantung Mine and has an all season road running through its claims.

2011 Exploration

A Phase One 2020 metre diamond drill program consisting of ten drill holes commenced in August and was completed in September. This drill program was designed to assess the potential mineralization at the POW, Confluence, Kangas and Main zones. The drilling was the first ever completed on the POW, Confluence and Kangas zones. The 2011 activities represent the first systematic drilling campaign on the project since a small four hole program was completed on the Main zone in the mid-1980's.

During the 2011 field program, mapping of the geology in the general area of the POW Zone was carried out to follow up on anomalies from the 2010 geophysical survey. This geophysical survey highlighted a pronounced magnetic high-EM conductor zone 400 metres west of the newly discovered gold mineralization from the 2010 field work and surface sampling. A number of soil and rock samples were also collected to complement the geological mapping. This follow-up work on the POW Zone led crew members to investigate the source of the strong EM geophysical conductor outlined by the airborne survey conducted in 2010. Along the strike of a strong EM lineament, a 10m-wide zone of mineralized quartz breccia was discovered which is considered to be a favourable target for gold and silver mineralization. This resulted in the expansion of the 2011 drill program to include two additional holes designed to test the newly discovered POW Zone.

In the middle of November 2011, Aben released the first drill hole results received from the 2011 drill program in which a significant new greenfield gold discovery had been made. The Company intercepted 60.00 metres of 1.19 g/t gold including 21.0 metres of 2.47 g/t gold in hole JN11009 in the never before drilled POW Zone.

The intercept observed in JN11009 starts at a vertical depth of 113 metres and is dominated by massive skarn-style replacement mineralization, which has been overprinted by quartz-calcite stock work veining. Both the skarn-style and vein-style mineralization carried gold values. The geochemical signature of the mineralized zone is characterized by elevated Au, Bi, Cu, Mo and W supporting an Intrusion Related Gold System. The 2010 geophysics outline an inferred buried intrusive stock, represented by a pronounced magnetic low, which lies between the POW Zone and the Main Zone located 2.4 kilometres to the south.

A second hole, JN11010, was drilled into the POW Zone which intercepted 11.3 metres of 2.70 g/t gold and 29.00 g/t silver starting at a vertical depth of 125 metres. The mineralized intercept in drill hole JN11010 correlates with the upper zone intercepted in Hole JN11009 of 60 metres of 1.19 g/t Au. Both exploratory holes drilled into the POW Zone in 2011 intercepted significant gold mineralization and this mineralization is open in all directions.

Additional ground work at the POW Zone in 2011 returned surface samples up to 8.97 g/t Au and 84.10 g/t Ag. Positive surface sampling results from 2010 and 2011 are located 400 metres to the east of the new gold discovery in holes JN11009 and JN11010.

Aben also drill tested the Kangas Zone in 2011, located 1.4 kilometres south of the POW Zone. Three holes totaling 494.20 metres were drilled from two pads on the Kangas Zone (holes JN11001, JN11002 and JN11003). Difficult ground conditions hampered drilling efforts, and target depths were reached on only one of the three holes. A new high grade silver-copper zone was intercepted in Hole JN11003 which was the only hole to intersect significant mineralization despite being abandoned within the contact of a fault zone. A 1.07 metre interval within the contact zone of the fault returned values of 7320 g/t Ag (234 oz/ton Ag) and 3.52% Cu at a down-hole depth of 42.23 metres. Sample recovery over the interval was only 15%, and therefore results may not reflect the true thickness or tenor of the mineralization. The hole was terminated within the mineralized interval due to poor ground conditions. This newly discovered silver-copper zone is open along strike and follow-up drilling will be conducted next season to further delineate this high grade zone.

As a result of the new greenfield gold, silver and copper discoveries on the Justin Project, Aben has acquired more claims around the property and in particular around the POW Zone on the northern part of the project. The Company has recently acquired 14,274 additional acres of mineral tenure in the immediate vicinity of the project to facilitate an even more aggressive work program next season.

Aben plans to commence a 4,000 metre diamond drill program in early June, 2012 on the Justin Gold Project and permitting for the program is currently underway. The primary targets for the drill program are the POW and Kangas Zones with the majority of the drilling to be carried out at the POW Zone. The principal objective of the drilling is to further test the gold and silver mineralization discovered at the POW Zone and to follow-up on the high grade silver and copper mineralization discovered at the Kangas Zone.

In addition to the diamond drill program, Aben is planning on conducting further silt and soil geochemical surveys, compiling recently acquired geophysical data, and completing both detailed and property-scale geological mapping. A seasonal, 20-man exploration camp will be constructed adjacent to the Nahanni Range Road on the Justin property, and will service all exploration activities. The camp will be winterized upon completion of the 2012 field activities.

Gold Mineralization

The property is host to numerous styles of intrusive and sediment hosted gold mineralization located within several main bulk-tonnage target areas. There are three different styles of mineralization including epithermal, skarn and sediment-hosted gold mineralization. The variety of mineralization styles makes the property an excellent candidate for combined bulk-tonnage and high-grade gold mineralization.

The Main Gold Zone hosts gold-bearing pyritic mineralization which occurs within a quartz monzonite dyke and adjacent calcareous siltstone. Historic chip sampling across this zone returned an average grade of 2.38 g/t Au over 22.5 metres. The Main Zone remains open to the east and along strike to the north into overburden-covered areas. The Confluence Gold Zone consists of a 600 metre by 250 metre area of coarse clastics hosting considerable fracture controlled chalcedonic veining. Historic grab samples from the zone returned gold values as high as 59.25 g/t Au in addition to historic chip sampling averaging 4.24 g/t Au over 4.5 metres.

The Kangas Gold Zone consists of a 75 metre by 400 metre zone of skarn and replacement style mineralization within calcareous siltstone, which has returned widespread anomalous values of up to 3.46 g/t gold. The POW Zone, discovered by Eagle Plains during an exploration program in 2010, consists of a calc-silicate skarn system as well as chalcedonic and quartz veining with arsenopyrite and pyrhhotite in coarse clastic sediments.

The Justin property has the potential to host both high-grade and bulk-tonnage gold mineralization and many targets on the property remain to be tested with further exploration planned, including trenching and diamond drilling.

Property Geology

The regional geology of the southeast Yukon is represented by the basement rocks of the Selwyn Basin, Late Precambrian to Early Cambrian Hyland Group sediments. Regional mineralization is generally controlled by Mid-Cretaceous Tombstone Suite quartz monzonite intrusive stocks. The Justin Property is underlain by sedimentary rocks assigned to the Yusezyu Formation. The three distinct styles of mineralization on the property are thought to be a direct reflection of a long lived, widespread mineralizing event occurring in reactive calcareous sediments.

The POW Zone geology is characterized by interbedded sequences of west-southwest striking, moderately north-northwest dipping fine to coarse grained siliciastics and calc-silicate altered limestones of the Hyland Group. The northern margin of the POW Zone is bound by the March Creek Fault, a regional structure interpreted as a deep seated strike-slip thrust fault. The fault is observed on the property and separates the Proterozoic-Cambrian Hyland Group from the Cambrian-Ordivican Rabbitkettle Formation. The southern extent of the POW Zone is underlain by a granodiorite stock and quartz monzonite dikes, interpreted to be part of the Cretaceous Tombstone-Tungsten Suite. The newly discovered POW Zone lies within the contact aureole of the granodiorite stock and is cross cut by at least three northerly trending quartz-monzonite dikes measuring 10.0 - 25.0 metres in thickness. Mineralization within the zone is observed as massive skarn-style replacement of limestone beds and quartz-calcite stock work veining. The mineralization style and spatial association to intrusive rocks is similar to that observed at the Main Zone.

TerraLogic Exploration Inc.

Aben has engaged TerraLogic Exploration Inc. of Cranbrook, BC to oversee all aspects of the exploration and drilling programs on the Company's Yukon and Northwest Territories projects. TerraLogic has been operating mineral exploration projects in North America since 1992 and has extensive experience up in the Yukon and NWT. They have worked for some notable companies including Teck and BP. Through TerraLogic, Aben has arranged for field crews, support staff, camps, supplies, helicopters and drill rigs to conduct the exploration to be carried out this year.

Tim J. Termuende, P.Geo., is a director and the Qualified Person for Aben Resources as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and has reviewed and approved the technical information in this project section.

The property was acquired from and past exploration was carried out by Eagle Plains Resources (TSX-V: EPL), a reporting issuer and other unrelated operators. The Company has not yet completed the work necessary to verify the past exploration results and since these results are historical in nature and some results predate National Instrument 43-101 standards, these results should not be relied upon.
