| | The weather in the Yukon has been warm and dry this week. Over the past week the field crew has been getting the Justin site prepared for construction of the camp. With the Nahanni Range Road opening all of the camp gear has been successfully mobilized into the site. Discovery Mining Services arrived on Friday July 6th to begin camp construction, which is anticipated to be completed around the 16th of July. Difficult ground conditions were encountered while preparing the camp site, and as a result 3-4 more days of gravel work are expected to bring the camp into a more functional work space.
Wildlife and Heritage Resources Surveys will be completed for all drill sites on Wednesday July 11th, 2012. Drill pad construction will begin as soon as the pad locations are cleared.
The recce crew will arrive on the 11th of July to begin mapping ahead of the drill which is scheduled to arrive between the 18th -- 20th of July.
Aurora Geosciences has been contracted to complete 20 line kilometres of MAG survey on the Justin Property to infill the area in between the existing Justin and VF magnetic surveys. A one person crew will be mobilized into camp later this week to begin the survey. It is anticipated that it will require 4-5 days to complete. |
